The Senior Manager, Financial Analysis is a senior member of the PSN finance team. He/She is responsible for overseeing all financial analytical work associated with contract negotiations.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Directs the analytical staff that supports contract negotiation, for all risk contracts for the PSN and non-risk contract for Caregroup Hospitals.
2. Provides strategic analysis used for the development of the system, payer and pricing strategies.
3. Manages the analytic staff processes and procedures
· Determines resource needs with in terms of staffing and systems.
· Hires managers and provides for the development of staff.
4. Communicates financial analysis to a broad array of constituencies including PSN, CG and RU leadership.
5. Participates as needed as a member of the negotiating team.
6. Supports other members of the finance, IT and Medical management team within the PSN as well as Risk Units in understanding RU performance under the PSN contracts.
7. Provides reports to track contract performance variance and as needed supports other members of finances and contract team for financial reporting settlement purposes and auditing.

The Senior Director Finance and Analysis is the senior member of the PSN finance team reporting directly to the Vice President, Contracting. He/She is responsible for providing overall financial leadership including ensuring the overall integrity of financial systems. He/She will oversee the finance, analytic, claims review, and reinsurance functions of the PSN.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Oversee financial accounting systems.
2. Provides leadership and direction to finance team including development of new initiatives and staff development.
3. Set priorities for team and ensure deadlines are met.
4. Ensure coordination of all finance projects and adherence to policies and procedures by all staff.
5. Provides guidance to staff on contract interpretation.
6. Participate in contract negotiations, and is directly involved in recommending budget methodologies as well as determining financial impact of carve-outs.
7. Communicates with key leadership within PSN, CareGroup, Risk Units and payors on financial matters.
8. Oversees financial reporting package production, coordinating input from members of the finance and IS teams.
9. Ensures exceptional customer service to PSN Finance constituents.
