Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is a Harvard-affiliated, research-intensive
teaching hospital located in Boston's Longwood Medical Area. Serving as
the principal academic and clinical resource of CareGroup, Beth Israel
Deaconess Medical Center is home to several nationally-recognized clinical
centers of specialized expertise including solid-organ transplantation;
diabetes/vascular surgery; obstetrics; cardiology and cardiac surgery;
gastroenterology: trauma: cancer (with a particular interest in breast
cancer): women's health; and AIDS. Complementary, state-of-the-art inpatient
and outpatient facilities, in addition to two regional outpatient centers,
primary care offices in more than 30 communities, and transitional and
palliative care units, enhance the broad array of clinical services available.

Auburn Hospital
Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge is an acute-care, Harvard-affiliated
community teaching hospital serving the healthcare needs of residents in
Arlington, Belmont, Cambridge, Lexington, Medford, Somerville, Watertown,
and Waltham. The hospital offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient
medical, surgical, obstetrical, and psychiatric services and is a leading
provider of advanced, specialized care in cardiology, cardiac surgery, oncology,
orthopedics, neurology, and vascular surgery. In addition, Mount Auburn
Hospital offers an extensive network of satellite primary care practices
in seven communities, as well as a broad range of community-based programs
including Mount Auburn Home Care; outpatient specialty services; and occupational
health. The hospital's Prevention and Recovery Center is a provider of education,
intervention, and support programs for public health issues such as substance
abuse and violence. The Mount Auburn Center for Problem Gambling is the

New England Baptist
Hospital
Established in 1893, New England Baptist Hospital is a 150-bed adult medical/surgical
hospital, located in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston, with specialty
services in musculoskeletal care, sports medicine, occupational medicine
and cardiology.
New England Baptist Hospital ranks among the nation's foremost providers
of hip and knee replacement surgery. To solidify its commitment to musculoskeletal
care, the hospital in 1995 formed the New
England Baptist Bone & Joint Institute. The Institute is the region's
leading resource for a full range of prevention and education, diagnostic,
treatment and rehabilitation services in orthopedics and rheumatology,
joint replacement, spine care, foot and ankle care, hand surgery, occupational
medicine and sports medicine. The hospital has a 40-bed skilled nursing
unit, specializing in rehabilitative care for the orthopedic patient,
in addition to post-surgical medical patients. NEBH is the sports medicine

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham Campus
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham Campus is a 41-bed community hospital serving the primary
and secondary healthcare needs of Needham residents and the surrounding
communities of Dedham, Dover, Medfield, and Westwood. Founded more than
80 years ago as a municipal hospital, BID Needham Campus provides a wide
range of inpatient and outpatient services including a full-service, 24-hour
emergency department; state-of-the-art cardiac testing and treatment capabilities;
diabetes care through the Joslin Center at BID Needham Campus; and advanced
diagnostic radiology. The hospital also houses clinical laboratory facilities
and a new Occupational Health Center for work-injury prevention, treatment,
and rehabilitation. The medical staff comprises highly-qualified primary
care physicians and specialists with advanced training in 30 medical and
surgical disciplines including arthritis and rheumatology; dermatology;
endocrinology; gastroenterology; obstetrics and gynecology; oncology;
orthopedics; pulmonary medicine; and urology, as well as plastic, thoracic,
