Breast and Cervical Cancer
Initiative New England Baptist Hospital offers free mammograms, Pap smears, and clinical breast exams to women through the state-funded Breast and Cervical Cancer Initiative. Women who qualify for the program are those age 40 and over who are uninsured or underinsured and not able to pay a deductible. Women under age 40 who have a strong family history of breast cancer may also be eligible, as well as women with a symptom and a doctor's referral. on understanding and managing your arthritis. The program includes an
introduction to coping skills with demonstrations of exercise and adaptive
equipment. There is also time for questions and answers. Faculty
are experienced healthcare professionals from the New England Baptist
Bone & Joint Institutute, New England Baptist Hospital Boston and
Deaconess-Glover Hospital Needham. Free coffee, lunch and parking
will be provided. This community education program is offered by the New
England Baptist Bone & Joint Institute, the Deaconess-Nashoba
Hospital and the Massachusetts Chapter of the Arthritis
